Highgate Control Centre for London Underground, London. The secure building was designed to fit into a sensitive location over-looked by housing. This affected the height, the layout and building access. The landscape design also integrates car-parking, large earth berms and security perimeter fencing. The building has a 1,000sqm planted roof which incorporates elements from the adjacent woodland to provide additional habitat for local biodiversity.
