Rotherhithe Station, London – one of 4 stations refurbished by WSA for London Overground. Collectively the stations won the National Rail Heritage Award 2010.The photos shows the new enlarged entrance designed to fit into the existing Victorian architecture. A new structure was built over the escalators with stepped roof planted with sedum. The lower stairs were refurbished, with new ceiling and lighting provided. New wayfinding was provided throughout.
