One of 4 stations refurbished by WSA for London Overground. Collectively the stations won the National Rail Heritage Award 2010. This station contains the grade 2 listed Brunel lift and stair shaft. The new façade is finished with faience to match the finishes to the listed shaft seen in the background. New wayfinding was provided throughout. The ticket hall interior reflects the same palette of finishes used for the 4 stations refurbished by WSA.
